How Slidell Can Help Hurricane Laura Victims

Frisard Companies is collecting donations to be delivered to the Cajun Navy warehouse in Baton Rouge by one of their 18-wheelers. They will distribute the items as needed to the victims of Hurricane Laura in Southwest Louisiana.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST, SLIDELL RESIDENTS MAY MAKE DONATIONS FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY HURRICANE LAURA @ City of Slidell Public Works Department – How Slidell Can Help Hurricane Laura Victims

At this time, these are the items that they desperately need:

• Cases of water 

• Sealed drinks (Gatorade & PowerAde) 

• Tarps 

• Baby Products 

• New clothes 

• Sleeping bags 

• Toiletries 

• Non-Perishables & Snacks 

• Pet food 

• Hygiene Products 

• Facemasks

• Hand Sanitizers

 • Heavy Duty Garbage Bags

 • Gloves

• Paper Towels

• Anything else you think can be useful in this time of need (the hardest hit areas are without electricity and water).

The drop off location in Slidell will be:

Bayou Lane across from the City of Slidell Public Works Department

(Approximate address: 1325 Bayou Ln, Slidell, LA 70460)

10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
